Karen Monté is a singer, songwriter and recording artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In 2007, Karen released the smooth jazz studio album ‘Close Your Eyes,’ arranged by award-winning pianist and composer John Mackay. The release garnered airplay and rave reviews in over 32 countries. Karen’s voice has been described by Music Directors worldwide as variously “beautiful and pure,” with "laid-back phrasing," "impeccable diction" and "innate feelings for melody and rhythm."

 

She also enjoys composing and recording Downtempo and Chill genres. In 2011, Karen released the single ‘All I Need’, produced by an L.A. Electronica DJ & Producer, which was immediately picked up by the major British Electronica label, Baroque Records.

 

Karen often performs Jazz, Standards and Lounge at notable clubs, venues and events.  She continues to write and record, collaborating with music producers and creatives who share her commitment to the beauty of sound and song.
